Fair Use Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Clearpaths is a personal goal-tracking tool currently in closed beta. This policy describes what we consider acceptable use of the service.

What's expected

Use Clearpaths for personal goal tracking and planning. That's what it's built for.

What's not permitted

  • Automated account creation. Don't create accounts programmatically or in bulk.
  • Excessive API usage. The API is for personal automation and integrations (e.g. connecting Claude via the MCP server). Don't use it to hammer endpoints at high frequency. Rate limits are in place; sustained abuse may result in suspension.
  • Attempting to access other users' data. Every request is scoped to your account. Attempting to bypass this is a serious violation.
  • Using the service for illegal purposes or in ways that harm others.
  • Reselling or redistributing access to the service.

Beta period

Clearpaths is free during the beta period. We may introduce paid plans after beta. If we do, we'll give existing users reasonable notice before anything changes.

During beta, the service may change, go down for maintenance, or have features added or removed. We'll do our best to keep things stable, but beta means beta.

Data

Your data is yours. We don't sell it, share it, or use it to train models. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Enforcement

If we determine an account is being used in violation of this policy, we may suspend or terminate it without prior notice. We'd rather not — if something seems off, we'll try to reach out first.
